Uluru and Kata Tjuta are two well-known and iconic
rock formations in Australia. The two red domes rise out of the Central
Australian dessert in spectacular fashion. The two rocks are located in the
Northern Territory approximately 450km away from Alice Springs. After tough debate in the 1980's the site is now owned by it's traditional owners, the Anangu people. The purpose of
this website is to educate readers on the history and formation of these two
icons.
